UYSA leagues are authorized to set their own registration fees, subject to approval by their District Committee. The fee charged by the State Office for administration shall be uniform for all members throughout the State. The Board of Directors at their discretion can offer incoming leagues lower fees for a limited time.
In rare situations, we may refund. Only the league president or the authorized agent that collects the registration fees, can authorize a refund of any or all of the registration fees. Neither the district nor the state has the authority to change the league president's decision. If a decision is made to refund, the UYSA and convenience fees are not refunded.
Play-Up
You can request to have your player play up a year (they will play on a team with older players). If you choose to do this, please email playup@oremyouthsoccer.com with your players name, birth date, and reason for the request.
Please keep in mind that players can only play up one year. For example, a five-year-old (U6) can play with the (U7-U8), but a four-year-old (U5) cannot play with the U7-U8 players.
Pre-Academy
Orem Youth Soccer & LFC IA Utah has created a new young program to challenge and develop those players who are already excelling. U7-U8 players have the opportunity to try out for this program. Practices will be more intense and coaches are held to a higher standard than in recreation.
Players are also welcome to tryout to play on a Liverpool Football Club International Academy team. Information can be found on our website at lfcacademyut.com
Orem Youth Soccer follows the UYSA and USYS age groups, and groups players by birth year. Players will be playing with others that are born the same year as them and either one year older or one year younger (Coed U19 has 15-18 year olds playing together).
Orem Youth Soccer and UYSA do not allow players to play down unless it is for a medical reason and with a doctor's note.
Requests should be submitted to the VP of Recreation or age group coordinator.
